Chainsaw Man Chapter 190
Kobeni She was the comedic relief. She was the human POV for the audience, right? Like, if we were Kobeni, we would basically act like her, right? If I’m living in this world of Chainsaw Man, I’m basically pissing my pants. I’m crying. I’m shouting that this is too much.
And for whatever reason, I escape out of it because, well, the author wants me to.Now, there’s 2 clever things Fujimoto can do with Kobeni because she’s the human character and the gag character, and the character that we’re supposed to be. That can just really be it. It’s as simple as that.
Now, you can also argue—and this is the side I will also argue with too—that Kobeni must have some type of devil contract. The Luck Devil.
You know, I actually made a video about what Kobeni’s contract could be, so go ahead and check that out when you want.
But I say all this because now we gotta flip it back to Fumiko.
There’s a lot of weird stuff that happened with Fumiko in the last chapter, and we didn’t get it answered in this chapter.
So, and granted, Fumiko is also a human public safety member and all that stuff, and we don’t know her devil contract, but we never saw Kobeni with a doppelganger before.
We clearly saw Fumiko with a doppelganger or some type of copycat or a twin. I don’t know, it needs to be explained.
So when you wrap all of this up, chapter 190 basically concludes the battle that we received with the Aging Devil.
And I’m curious to hear your thoughts about this arc because when you sit on it, we started this arc at the prison facility with Fami and Asa.
They rescue Denji. Denji was cut into pieces. Denji was basically at his lowest.
And then we are brought to Fami’s apartment. Katana Man hits Denji. Yoru ends up hitting Denji, and Denji’s already at his lowest point.
Where’s Naita? Naita’s nowhere to be found. Let’s go ahead on this side quest DLC to finally arrive at the sushi restaurant.
We arrive at the sushi restaurant, Naita, as of right now, is dead. I still think she’s dead but also alive. I know it’s weird, we can talk about that in the live stream later.
Denji basically loses it. We see full-form Pochita again, which is really awesome.
Then we see the whole madness play out with Public Safety Division 5. Denji starts devouring all these devils. It looked like Public Safety has an agenda.
Fami is somewhere in the back lurking. Oh my god, what’s gonna happen?
But then Yoru ends up pulling some crazy gun goddess nonsense. We see the gauntlets of the tank. We see the gauntlets of the gun.
And then the Aging Devil appears. Nowhere in the 9th inning does this crazy shit. We deal with all this aging devil madness.
And now we finally end the arc at chapter 190 with the resolution that we got.
