An incredible zoo to visit is the @zooknoxville. This zoo is located in Knoxville, TN, which fun fact is 45-55 minutes away from the Pigeon Forge, TN area. So if you’re in the area make sure to get tickets to this amazing zoo.
Tickets are $21.95 for children ages 3-12 and $26.95 for anyone 13+.
Parking is $5, which is so affordable.
They have amazing animals from Black Bears, Rhinos 🦏 , Giraffes 🦒 , Great Apes 🦍, Cuban Crocodiles 🐊, Malayan Tigers 🐅, River Otters 🦦 AND MORE!
While you are there you can try plenty of great food spots like Beastro Cafe, Crave, Al’s Cantina, Safari Smokehouse, Tennessee Dogs, and Roaming Rhino Canteen. I highly recommend the applewood pulled pork sandwich from Chimney Tops Provisions.
Throughout the zoo there are guides located all around the animals to tell more information on how old they are, how they eat, and more!
This zoo has great opportunities for the kids like a kids cove that allows you to interact with goats and sheep + play in a sandbox. They can also bring their bathing suits or back up clothes for the splash 💦 area.
At the end of the visit you can go through the gift shop before you exit. Check out clothing, magnets, stickers, and stuffed animal souvenirs.
