Be aware of the warning signs of a stroke. The acronym BE FAST helps you remember them: B-balance, E-eyes, F-face, A-arm, S-speech, and T-terrible headache make up the important acronym BE FAST.

If you experience one or more of these symptoms, act quickly and call 911. Do not drive, walk, or use public transportation to get to the hospital. It’s crucial to call for help. Remember, “time is brain”—approximately 2 billion brain cells can die every minute a stroke goes untreated.
