A Two Minute Tip is really the wrong place to teach about the Milky Way, when you can see it, how it looks throughout the year in the Northern & Southern Hemisphere. But I try to anyway! In order to know when getting out for Milky Way Photography is possible, I explain what months you can see the Milky Way Galactic Core and show you extremely quickly what the Milky Way looks like in both hemispheres.
If you want a longer lesson on this topic, I go into this in great detail during a Milky Way Wednesday LIVE STREAM back on Nov. 14th 2018: youtu.be/Ag6Z5cqqt_Q
I don't think I go into the Southern Hemisphere much if at all, but I really detail the northern and help you know how to plan for the return of the Milky Way because at the time the Milky Way was gone in Nov and we were waiting until January again for it to return.
June is the mid-point of the Milky Way Photography Season and marks the final month for Panorama Milky Way Photography. To celebrate that I am releasing a new Two Minute Tip video every day teaching a new aspect of Milky Way Photography! Today is Milky Way Smarts and tomorrow is Moon Workaround!
