Eight Fingers Nine emerges from the shadows as night descends, searching for fresh meat. His vicious bite penetrates deep, causing sleep paralysis that holds his victim in sway while he slowly consumes their flesh. Knott's Scary Farm, Southern California's longest-running and most spine-chilling Halloween theme park event, is thrilled to announce the addition of two new terrifying mazes and an all-new experience dedicated to Scary Farm legend Elvira, Mistress of the Dark©. This year marks the final opportunity for guests to experience the nightmarish Wax Works maze, a twisted wax museum, and Bloodline 1842, where visitors can join one last battle in the war-torn streets of Valdonia.
The 2024 Knott's Scary Farm event features 10 mazes, five sinister scare zones, and three hair-raising shows, spanning 31 nights of terror from September 19 to November 2. With over 50 years of original and relentless nightmares, unimaginable scares, and innovative thrills, Knott's Scary Farm has left no unopened tomb, crypt unrattled, and no fear unexplored.
Knott’s Scary Farm Event Details
For over 50 years, Knott's Scary Farm has been a cornerstone of the Southern California theme park scene, attracting millions of visitors with its thrilling nightmares. This year, the event will take place on September 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29, October 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31, and November 1 and 2. Knott's Scary Farm will be open from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays and from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM on select Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Due to the event's intense and frightening content, it is not recommended for children under 13.
A chaperone policy will be in effect for all event nights. Guests aged 15 and younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old. The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo ID with their date of birth at the ticket entrance. One chaperone may accompany up to ten guests aged 15 or younger. The chaperone must enter the park with their group, remain inside during the visit, and be reachable by phone throughout their stay. To confirm their age, guests aged 16 and older must show a valid government-issued ID (such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport). Those unable to provide proof may be denied entry. Unaccompanied guests aged 15 and younger found inside the park will be subject to removal.
Additionally, a bag policy will be enforced this year. Only clear plastic bags smaller than 12” x 12” x 6” and non-clear wristlets or clutches no larger than 5” x 8” x 2” are permitted. All bags are subject to inspection before entry.
