At Knott's, the area where Knott's Bear-y Tales: Return To The Fair has opened for the Merry Farm Festival. We get to visit the area where the ride resides and see what appears to be the return of the Roaring 20s complete with the classic decor that once adorned the original Knott's land in 1975.
Although not officially confirmed to be the return of the Roaring 20s by Knott's; no name of this area is given on Festival maps. The design and homage to it are very, very obvious. Especially, if you see the turn of the century design and dig out old photos of the original Roaring 20s on the internet. Good Time Theater has most of its original paint job restored, the Wheeler Dealer Bumper Cars gettin' an architecture upgrade with an original lighting package, and the Speakeasy among other details all call back to the original land.
So maybe we may get our answer someday when the park reopens with a rescheduled 100th Anniversary?
