This is my submission to the knife build challenge with Tyrell knifeworks! The exotic stingray pelt was the inspiration for the tanto so I built a Tanto knife with Japanese inspired exotic stingray sheath. I made the blade from the wolftooth damascus that Denis handcrafted couple weeks ago. I think the knife came out great, it has a wolftooth damascus blade that is razor sharp on all three sides, a nickel silver finger guard, an african blackwood spacer and a Russian karelian birch handle that is mind blowing beautiful! I wrapped it all up with a hybrid kydex and leather sheath that has exotic stingray inlays that peek out from beneath the top grain leather!. You are the judge!
