Steve (Minecraft) is hosting a party at his recently-built house in Vanilla Lake. Many events include ice skating, cross-country skiing, warming up by the fire, and best of all, go-kart racing! That's where King Boo, Shy Guy, Metal Mario, and Tanooki Mario come in. They can't wait to cruise on the slippery landscape and dive into freezing waters!
After doing WiiU Water Park, I wanted to do another SNES track, because it's been so long since my last one, SNES Rainbow Road. I wanted to experiment with underwater some more, Vanilla Lake 1 is the only track that crossed my mind for some reason (maybe because it's the only water-filled track theme that hasn't been brought back in newer Mario Kart games [Mario Kart: Super Circuit doesn't count]).
For the snow, I used tons of white sheets of paper laid flat, and for the water I've been using for the last couple of episodes, i used dark blue construction paper (I was hoping for light blue when i went looking for it, but whatever floats your boat). For the Cross Country course, I used only K'nex rods and connectors. I used Lego bricks and other pieces to make Steve's house and the campfire (except the fire itself; I used a fire design that I drew on and cut out on paper).
Enjoy!
Can you find:
Red Shell (Easy)
Green Yoshi (Medium)
Paratroopa (Hard)
Daisy (Extreme)
Next Track: In the third custom track in the series, prepare for a demolition derby!
