The latest KMST patches are being awesome. This one doesn't just add Luminous' beginning and storyline, but also Kaiser, protector of the dragons! It's a new job, whose storyline we still don't know much about. I'll address this one soon.
This video shows Luminous' beginning and his appearance in the Black Mage's room. Before that, though, he sees a fight between Guwaru (the tree monster) and Magnus (the evil dude with a sword), two Black Mage generals. The reason of this fight is, to me, unknown. It may be explained in a future high-leveled area announced with the Tempest update. Afterall, remember this patch is divided into 5 updates.
Anyways, Luminous then arrives to the Black Mage's room after the other heroes were struck by his spells, and, with the help of Freud, who uses a spell to stop time, he's able to put the seal in place. Luminous was at first a pure light mage (that would explain why he has both eyes of the same colour before the encounter with Black Mage), but then something went wrong and, during the fight, part of Black Mage's evil has gotten into Luminous. That explains the sudden outrage in that town close to Ellinia, where a girl helps him but then the evil within his soul explodes in an outbreak of power which burns the town.
The BGMs used in these maps are part of 8 great new ones added to the game with a recent patch. I'll address them soon, as well.
Oh, I almost forgot to say that now you can either choose light or darkness for your Luminous. Apparently, the system explained in the other video about this class was changed.
