Kamloops Minor Baseball Association's 2013 season got off to a celebratory start on the weekend with the annual opening-ceremony event at Norbrock Stadium, featuring O Canada.
Dozens of teams from rookie ball to midget were introduced to a full house at the stadium, with Mayor Peter Milobar throwing out the opening pitch and Icebreaker Tourneys being played at the various fields on McArthur Island.
