Polish DJ and producer Klaudia Gawlas, a force to be reckoned with in the techno scene, sets fire to the dancefloor once again with her latest ‘Genetics’ EP, out via Filth on Acid. Her latest work consists of four groundbreaking productions, starting with ‘Ascension’ which captures the essence of the underground rave scene with relentless basslines, static sounds, and hypnotic melodies. Next up is ‘Free Your Mind’ which blends pulsating beats and hypnotic rhythms, inviting listeners to break free from the mundane and explore the depths of their consciousness. Slovenian techno hero UMEK is next up on the mighty Dutch label Filth on Acid with his latest EP, Warm up the Sub!
UMEK has made significant contributions to the techno scene since the late 1990s. Known for his dynamic sets and innovative tunes, he has released on many prestigious labels and is a pioneer of the minimal style, mostly on his own label, 1605 Music Therapy.
Warm Up The Sub is a brash, textured techno cut with hammering hits and twisted synths squirming their way through the dense drums, with raved up stabs flashing above the beats. Blue Redemption keeps the pressure on but this time with more percussive funk next to the fizzing synths. Its a driving sound for packed out warehouses.
This high-octane release blends pulsating rhythms with deep, resonant basslines and is guaranteed to ignite any dance floor.
