So excited to have the genre defying prolific song writer K.K. Slider back yet again with us to perform our (socially distant) arrangement of my favorite ballad from Animal Crossing! I was truly captivated by this melody the second I heard it coming out of an in game gramophone! The chord changes are so evocative of an arranging style from the Hollywood orchestras of the 20th century so I couldn't resist giving it this lush treatment.
Shout out to Animal Crossing sound supervisor Kazumi Totaka for coming up with all the different genres of music that we hear from this incredible sound track! Perfect way to get bite sized samples that pique the interest in exploring music from all times and places.
