The sonic boom was created by the Space Shuttle Discovery as it slowed down to the speed of sound on it's way to Edwards Air Force Base on Sept 11th, 2009. The first time I heard a boom at home was in 2007. I thought someone had ran into my home with a car. That's how loud and hard these things can hit!

This video almost didn't happen. I was recording Sparta with my high quality camera (Canon XHA1) but my camera had an error which made me think I was recording when I wasn't. Luckily my wife Stephanie was filming Loki with a Flip Cam at the same time. So yeah, thank her for saving this one!
