Growing increasingly anxious, the owner tried everything to rouse the kitten, but nothing seemed to work. Fear gripped their heart as they wondered if something was wrong. With trembling hands, they carefully lifted the kitten and held her close, fearing the worst.
Then, just as despair began to set in, they placed her back on the ground, and to their immense relief, she slowly stirred awake. With a sleepy stretch and a tiny yawn, the kitten blinked up at them, reassuring the owner that she was safe and sound.
