Attempting, yes I said attempting to sketch the iconic ALIVE! back cover banner of the album that turned 50 this past September.
No better time than now to practice art and pay tribute to the ALIVE! album that made the band KISS so famous, recognizable, and launched them into superstardom.
What teenage KISS fan hasn’t obsessed over that back album cover for hours and wished they could have that hand drawn poster by Bruce Redoute and Lee Neaves
(the boys holding their poster) hanging up on their bedroom wall?
I’m dedicating this video to @AComicBookworm for inspiring me to pick up a pencil and sketch after three and a half decades of drawing procrastination and finally have my KISS ALIVE! BANNER …in miniature of course!
A Comic Bookworm has recently completed a 75 day Art Practice Challenge without missing one day, or in his case one evening of live streaming.
If NammaN can do 75 days I can certainly spend 75 minutes of something I enjoyed doing growing up on something like that KISS ALIVE! BANNER.
