![VGMemory Groove #46 : Derby Tsuku 2 Sega Dreamcast (BGM - 36)
Bok, my inspiring listeners and welcome back to my VGM review of Derby Tsuku 2/ダビつく2. Today, we’ll be talking about the sequel after the first Derby Tsuku game [VGMemory Groove #30] that was developed in 2000 and currently, 2001. By reviewing this track altogether, we can see how the composers employed for this track have made an amazing job of constructing a cheerful melody with a sighting instrument of an accordion to keep in touch with the position of the track easily. A beautiful chance to bring back majestic scenery into the atmosphere. It reminds me of the Professor Layton series as their instruments for the BGM would require the accordion to accommodate the cheerful scenario in any choice they can attract listeners such as myself and everyone to accompany the wonderful perspective of the gameplay itself. Therefore, I will give this a 9 out of 10 for my review. Thanks for listening and another person I would love to quote from Far Cry 2, “You can’t break a man the way you break a dog or a horse. The harder you beat a man, the taller he stands.” [The Jackal]

This reminds me of a groovy track from Asphalt: Urban GT on the Nintendo DS, known as Arcade Mode but with a faster tempo. ![VGMemory Groove #77 : DON 2 - THE GAME PSP (OST - Pause Menu/DATA_00000018)
Choum Reap Sor, soul-stirring VGM listeners, and welcome back again to a new dimension of obscure VGM as we go in-depth with a game that was released in Asia, specifically in India.
To explain further, we will be checking a game that has a similar name to the movie itself, known as Don 2 : The Game as it was marketed in several neighboring countries in 2013 for the PSP and PS2 combined.
By examining the plot itself, most of the story is slightly different from how it is from the original concept of the movie as the main character, Mark Donald a.k.a Don (Played by Shah Rukh Khan) is now sending his regards in bloodshed towards Jaruwan, a Malaysian Drug Lord who has betrayed him at the start of the level, where he resides in an undisclosed location in Thailand due to operating a massive drug cartel in dealing with the European Mafia. Once Don has assassinated Jaruwan, he went further on confronting the European Mafia, including their enforcer, Sylvester as they have a certain connection with Jaruwan altogether. Thus, ending the close relationship between both sides by the beginning of the storyline.
Up until then, Don has made a complex plan of executing a heist with Vardhaan at the DZ Bank for a certain purpose. However, things didn’t seem to work out between them after the events of the first movie itself. Ergo, will Don be able to search for the items he needed inside the bank and claim himself the King of the European Underworld? Play it and find out by yourself.
Straight to the point on reviewing the soundtrack, it accommodates the “calm before the storm” phrase as this track interprets the common ideal of tranquility in preparation for the worst to arrive towards the player themselves. The pause menu is one of the examples to display this type of track whenever you feel safe, which is suitable for solacing your senses into a clear direction of paths to accomplish several missions before the last in undertaking certain consequences to follow.
With that in mind, the most significant moment to be heard from this track itself is in the duration of 0:35, as it defines the peculiar meaning of life, death, and honor for Don to make this right before it is too late to overcome. Consider it as a gift before you step into the demise of your enemies themselves.
Lastly, in ending this memorable review, I will be rating the current standards of this track. By that, I rate this a 7 out of 10 in confirming its status of this review. Hence, clarifying the prepared quote from The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, it has shown to be quite immersive into the storyline itself as there is hope around your surroundings which is known to be true such as the next sentence below. “They say... hope begins in the dark. But most just flail around in the blackness searching for their destiny. The darkness, for me, is where I shine.” [Riddick] Therefore, thank you for listening.

![Cover Girl PSP Redux [OST] - Music 9F
Same as the previous tracks I mentioned before, with a little change on the tempo of the track instead.
Description: Cover Girl is aimed at a female audience and it is described as a way to become a Truly Fabulous Female. The game starts by asking some personals details. You enter your name, date of birth, and your favourite music style. You then choose one of the three available female characters that will guide you through the game. The game for instance asks you whether numbers or letters attempt you more, if you are in the mood for food choices or to release your inner child, and if you are more interested in being dressed to kill than deadweight dumping. The game then generates a Cover Girl magazine based on your preferences.

![VGMemory Groove #56 : Watashi no Happy Manner Book Nintendo DS (BGM - 10/Step 2 Celebrity)
Greetings, my VGM listeners and welcome back to another VGM review of a Nintendo DS game, Watashi no Happy Manner Book. To clarify the synopsis of this game, it is about learning the concept of manners and cultures by adopting a different lifestyle at work, at home or at various events. According to the information provided by Nintendo, “real manners” are incorrect to be stated as “methods”. Instead, they are entirely focused on how you would take “action from the standpoint of the other party” without expressing any offensive remarks or gestures included. Hence, we must prioritize the established conventions of morality offered in any location we’re invited to stay as a deem of respect, under all circumstances.
Starting with the gameplay, you’ll be learning how to acquire the essence of manners and the feeling of sympathy for people by learning different sets of etiquette with a customized curriculum, designed by each person after reading the novel based on common examples. In my opinion, I wouldn’t mind playing this game as it teaches you to explore a new route of manners with certain choices offered into the culture department.
Reviewing the track itself, it reminds me of a fashion catwalk competition that would fit well here. Hence, it encourages you to be yourself while increasing your level of confidence to apply the state of manners into the frame of creative thinking itself. In addition, a good reference for this track would be from Idolm@ster SP: Wandering Star [Appeal] and Style Savvy [Apartment theme] as both games offer under the fashion category for different competitions to attend, either in the pop idol industry or the apparel industry. The music itself provides an intense build-up, where it motivates you to overcome your low self-esteem and overtake any challenge that occurs in front of you. Thus, I will give this an 8 out of 10 for the review. Thanks for listening and to quote a certain gentleman who is dedicated to puzzles from the Professor Layton series, “A true gentleman leaves no puzzle unsolved!” [Professor Hershel Layton]

![VGMemory Groove #72 : Fragments Blue PS2 (BGM - 18)
Sannu, fellow VGM listeners and welcome back to the intensive care of miracles for people to gather and obtain a unique experience of obscure VGM altogether.
Today, well be examining a visual novel game that was released on the PS2 only, known as Fragments Blue. This game itself has its fair share of history from Vridge as they were the developers of Konohana: True Report in the past [Refer to VGMemory Groove #40]. Meanwhile, Silver Bullet has a different perspective view on their 18+ rating, but alas, they went out of business in May 2013 with all of their brands removed. Thus, it led to a fatal end for the company itself. Im uncertain on what may occur to the turnover employees, but I wish them the best in searching for a suitable occupation that offers an acceptable wage with the fringe benefits of sustaining a vigorous lifestyle in the long-term measured.
Viewing the synopsis of the visual novel provided, it is about the main character, who calls himself Kaname Ōsaka/Ousaka Kaname has obtained a letter with no return address. From the letter itself, it is written with one sentence, “If you remember where I fell, go there with Momoka and search. A key was found and the letter was signed by Chika Yazawa, Kanames childhood friend and Momokas sister.
However, Chika had passed away two years when there was no suitable donor for a located heart transplant. Even with the shocking discovery made by Ōsaka, he went on a search by going back to Shimizu, where he grew up to acquire a collection of similar keys in order to open a box that will lead to bliss.
Confronting this quest, he will be accompanied by his friends such as Natsune and Momoka on uncovering the static truth regarding the conditions of the letter itself. Are you ready to unlock the gaping hole of locks to recover the past about the existence of the letter? Be sure to find out by yourself.
Touching by the lines of keenness from this track, it would ignite the wounds of curiosity as the music keeps on jumping to conclusions with the key tone of a violin or viola. Enough to be resistant to the astounding tempo itself, it keeps on lifting your spirits to not give up on life and continue venturing into the abyss of the unknown.
Sounds cliché to all of you, but it is referred to how your mind personates with the style of creativity to be seen, visually by your side.
By finalizing the review itself, the received rating for this track will be an 8 out of 10. Hence, without wasting your precious time in this video, a quote will be inserted at the final phase of the video from Little Busters, promoting a sense of comfort in circling the rivers of buoyant for everyone, including yourself. “Anything can happen. No one ever thinks it will until it does. What will happen, happens. Thats how the world is. The most important thing is to not let the tragedy defeat you. To believe that you can get through it.” [Natsume Kyousuke]
