You may be wondering a few things:
1. Did Zilla die? No, Kiryu just hit a spot that managed to knock Zilla out.
2. Do you hate Zilla? No, actually. That’s the main reason I didn’t let Zilla die.
3. Why didn’t Kiryu kill Zilla? The pilots and military understood that this animal was scared and in fear, and didn’t actually want to cause harm.
4. Why did the fight end so quickly? Kiryu scanned for a vital spot and took opportunity when Zilla was down.
5. What lizard was Zilla originally, and in what stage of growth? It was a Komodo Dragon, around Adolescent age. Also, this Zilla may be able to grow much larger, but it’s unknown as of now.
6. Can this Zilla use fire? Yes! Kiryu just overwhelmed Zilla, so it didn’t get time to charge it.
7. How did the Komodo even wind up in San Francisco? Not sure, but it’s likely that it escaped from a zoo and was led to the city by hunting the spider.
8. When did this take place? About 8-9 months later from the events of Ep. 4.
