The team behind plans to regenerate Kirkcaldy town centre say we should judge their efforts in five years time.
Last autumn the chancellor awarded twenty million pounds of funding for the project.
That's yet to result in spades in the ground, we're told that's because the council wants to know what local people think should happen.
