Welcome! In this video series, we cover how to get 100% in Kirby's Dream Land 2 for the original Game Boy! While technically the third game in the Kirby series, this is a direct sequel to the original title while incorporating the copy technique of the NES game. It also introduces animal helpers Coo, Rick and Kine, who can help Kirby in unique ways and alter his copy technique to create a new one! This game also introduces Rainbow Drops, which are collectible and required to fight the true final boss. Remember as well that not only do you need all Rainbow Drops for 100% but you also have to reface each boss and complete the minigame as well as find Blob, the female variant of Gooey that randomly appears when you attempt to rescue the same animal buddy you currently have.
In part 5, we visit Red Canyon, which contains a very infamous area. In order to get the Rainbow Drop, make sure you get Rick as well as the spark ability. This will create essentially the beam ability from Kirby's Adventure. On the second autoscrolling section of stage 5, continue past the first door and you'll find another one. Quickly enter it to find the Rainbow Drop room.
