Welcome! In this video series, we cover how to get 100% in Kirby's Dream Land 2 for the original Game Boy! While technically the third game in the Kirby series, this is a direct sequel to the original title while incorporating the copy technique of the NES game. It also introduces animal helpers Coo, Rick and Kine, who can help Kirby in unique ways and alter his copy technique to create a new one! This game also introduces Rainbow Drops, which are collectible and required to fight the true final boss. Remember as well that not only do you need all Rainbow Drops for 100% but you also have to reface each boss and complete the minigame as well as find Blob, the female variant of Gooey that randomly appears when you attempt to rescue the same animal buddy you currently have.
In part 2, we meet Coo and find Blob, which is required for 100%. I recommend replaying the first level with Coo until you find Blob instead of Gooey as it's early in the level and easy enough to repeat until you get it (you can exit the level quickly by pressing Start and exiting). The rainbow piece is also very easy to get in this level, only requiring the Needle ability.
