With All Courses, I had hoped to beat the sum of the individual Normal and Extra records. I accidentally made that harder on myself by beating the Normal record earlier lol, so it took one extra PB to get it done than it otherwise would have. The sum of the individual records includes an extra Dedede boss fight, which takes about 43s to complete. But anyway, with this run, I beat that current sum by about 17 seconds.
Misses:
4-8 - Pretty embarrassing, I just froze on whether I needed to do a boost against the divider and yeah I definitely did lol.
Ex7-2 - I over-rotated with the Parasol.
Ex7-4 - Sometimes this shot doesn't work, shrug. (It's really hard to be optimal through the first half of Extra 7.)
Notable Minor Mistakes:
2-8 - I didn't get the power I was looking for and then I presumably mistimed the corrective boost, so I ended up bouncing over the hole and then back in.
3-1 - I didn't get the brakes I was looking for to get in a good position after shot 1, and then I bungled the recovery on shot 2, so I ended up bouncing over the hole and then back in.
Ex6-3 - Because this run was going so well I decided to switch to the safe strategy, but the d-pad on my 3rd-party controller is turbo cheeks, so sometimes in a complex aim shot like this it'll cause an extra input that I didn't intend, and that completely threw me off and then it took me way too long to figure out how to get back on track.
Ex7-7 - I under-powered shot 2 by 1 frame, and unfortunately that branch of the strategy is usually pretty slow.
I would also say that I did something incorrectly on both Ex5-6 and Ex8-8, but those weren't significant enough time losses for me to feel I should list them as full mistakes.
