Ready for something exciting? My cousin and I got together last night and went on a Kirby Superstar Marathon!
First up on the list is Spring Breeze. King Dedede and his minions stole all the food and is hording it all to themselves. Kirby sets out to bring the food back.
MBB provides comical humor during the tutorial... however I won't be offended if you decide to skip over it. Haha. It did take a while for him to finish it... oddly.
Green Greens is level 1. Nothing to hard here. MBB and I get a feeling for the game mechanics again. Whispy Wood is the first boss of Spring Breeze. A pretty straight forward and easy battle.
Stage 2 is Float Islands. This stage features a tropical feel to it. MBB and I easily dispense of the mini boss using invincibility candy and then head off to find the bosses. The bosses here are Lololo and Lalala. If you've seen my playthrough of Kirby's Avalanche, they will look familiar. Lololo and Lalala are actually from another game where they have to solve maze puzzles. Long story short, Lalala is captured and Lololo sets off to save her. The game is called Eggerland. The "boxes" (they just look like green ice blocks to me) they push are suppose to be a throwback to their puzzle game. MBB decides to save Crash for the coup de grace on Lalala. Not sure why...
Bubbly Clouds is the name of Stage 3. What an name for such a level since it takes place in the Clouds. The music is pretty charming for all the horrible killing we are doing. The "mini boss" is also the big boss of the stage, just with less water vapor and lightning. Just before you enter the boss room at the end, there is a secret door hidden in the moon if you fly up in the sky. Watch out for the falling bear though... The parasol ability in this game actually does a good job at beating Kracko, the boss of this stage, ironically. MBB decided to go the hearing loss route for Kracko though... that is if Kracko can even hear.
Stage 4 is Mt. Dedede. This is pretty much just the showdown between Kirby and Dedede (however the helper did all the work... Way to go MBB.) The ending was a little weird. Usually Dedede uses Mike 1 when you defeat him and send him flying out of the castle. However the game uses Mike 3 this time... I've manged to pull that off before, but only once. Strange glitch, huh?
Please enjoy!
