I do not like this sort of level design. But luckily it's only a few stages here and there as the game is otherwise solid. I "guess" having multiple paths adds replay value, but when you need to pick one or the other and they only have treasure chests on one of the two (or more) paths rather than at a central location they merge at, it's a problem.
