Welcome to the City! The third and final mode of Kirby's racer is the most unique. Each player starts out on the mode-exclusive Compact Star on different points of the massive city. They must compete to gather as many upgrades for their ride from blue boxes (which can also contain healing items) as possible, while on the look out for better vehicles and avoiding power-downs.
Players can debilitate each other with special items from green boxes and Copy Abilities from red boxes. However, they must also contend with random events occurring in the city that range from devastating to extremely helpful to just plain wacky. Once time expires players are tossed into an event known as a Stadium where they ride their custom rides to victory!
