8 maps that were either used solely for test purposes, early versions of maps, or discarded entirely. These maps can't be accessed normally, and are only present in the Japanese version of the game (Kirby Bowl): They were removed from all other regions.

Map 1: Slope test map.
Map 2: Hill test map.
Map 3: Conveyor belt test map.
Map 4: Objects test map
Map 5: Warp panel test map.
Map 6: Early version of map 8-3.
Map 7: Discarded stage / Needle test?
Map 8: Discarded stage.

There are actually 11 unused maps in the game, but the last three are small, bland areas that are basically copies of each other.
