Andrea Pickett was murdered by her former husband Kenneth Pickett in 2009. She had gone to police repeatedly, telling them she feared Pickett would kill her. Bentley spoke to Guardian Australia before giving evidence to a Senate inquiry into missing and murdered First Nations women.
