While many area students are out of school, several of those from Dobyns-Bennett High School helped load up donations and supplies headed to recently flooded areas across the region.

Through Treeline Helicopters, Inc, Strategic Growth Logistics and Amazon, these donations will make it to the areas of Burnsville, Black Mountain and Candler, North Carolina on Friday.

The helicopter landed at Legion Field near DBHS Friday morning.
