The game feels amazing to control and play at times and other times it feels like the most jank thing in the world.
My feelings with it are mixed, however, I do not really care or enjoy the suggestive side of it all... I'm mostly there for the gameplay and the online play.
Felt like the challenge of True Hell (No Continues, 1 Life, Enemies Are Harder) to be a fun experience to have with the game.
This game is probably going to grow into something amazing at some point, but it needs a lot of growth before it is a good game for me.
Do I recommend this game after finishing it? No.
- This game has way too much stuff that it doesn't tell the player such as adding a "Parry" feature stage 6 onwards that persists on the game and it is something forced on the player while also not explained AT ALL.
- The amount of trial and error to beat enemies (while I was playing on the hardest difficulty) is beyond what people have as patience, as you'd have to redo the whole stage to have another chance against some of these fights.
- I do have to say the OST/Soundtrack of this game is amazing and I gotta commend the one who made the songs for this game.
- The gameplay also feels amazing once you truly understand your whole kit of your character, my character for example as a "I-Frame" move as in they become invincible, this is KEY for the character to shine and needs you to pull it while you the enemy is doing "All Out Attacks" so you don't lose your combo.
- And yeah the Combo is the only way you deal damage to enemies by grabbing them while your combo is high, the higher the combo numbers the more DMG you deal, so it's both triggersome to lose it and amazing to keep it and use it.
- The accusire fight being just brushed off for another boss fight was insane, I can't believe they did a 3 phase boss fight with an amazing song, a new mechanic and just a really hard fight, only to then throw a redone boss from level 1 (duplicated) with 1 new move and called it a fight, not to mention that I had to do the whole Accusire fight again if I had to have another chance agains the two twins dog boss.
All in all, this game needs time cooking and I love it.
But I cannot recommend anyone to play it.
HP Pools in late game are insanely high, some enemies are just tiresome, a very whatever ending as of what it is right now in the Early Access and a lot of issues with lag (which might not be solved).
Buy it at your own take here, my take is a no.
