And we're off, the official start to the travelling fair season has commenced. It was a pleasure to attend the King's Lynn Mart official mayoral civic opening ceremony of the 818th fair, Nipper (Lawrence) Appleton chairman of the Norwich & Eastern Counties section, did a wonderful speech which I have included here on a brief history of the attractions. Please forgive the shaky camera as always King's Lynn can be and is the coldest place we attend during the season.
