Sweven State | Kingdom of the Dinosaurs At Knott's Berry Farm @swevenstate | Uploaded February 2016 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Kingdom of the Dinosaurs was my all-time favorite attraction when I was a kid until it was surpassed when I was finally peer pressured into riding the "terrifying" Timber Mountain Log Ride (Known as the "Calico Log Ride" back then). I grew up in the 1990s during the golden age of dinosaur films, merchandise and rides. My entire room was outfitted with dinos. You name it, I had it, from bed sheets to posters to action figures. Kingdom of the Dinosaurs brought the Land Before Time and Jurassic Park movies to life right before my eyes. As much as I miss the ride, part of me is glad that it's no longer around for selfish reasons. I'm not sure it could ever live up to my nostalgic childhood memories.
