Did this as a send off for KH2 speedruns as I'd like to get back to KH1 soon, but ended up pulling off a pretty decent run of this. Done as a race with a friend and ended up getting a massive PB/WR so that's pretty cool. KH2 Plat can definitely get around to the 11:20-ish range so this run is still very improvable (especially if you see some of the really dumb deaths and mistakes that were made) but this run still had some really strong parts. Will do more of this in the future.

The Jiminys Journal 100% speedrun category in KH1 beats the game while completing the following entries: All Characters, All Chronicles, All Ansem Reports, All Trinities, All Dalmatians and All Minigames. All Characters includes all summons, all regular heartless and all bosses. Unlike later Kingdom Hearts titles, chests and synthesis arent recorded in the Journal. This run doesnt require opening all chests, nor does it require crafting Ultima Weapon.
Pretty good run across the board, although it did have some rough patches. For a category this difficult Im happy with how much went well. It could definitely stand to be a few minutes faster, but a sub 5 hour run was my goal and I clutched with a very dangerous strat at the very end. Done with PS4 speedruns for a while probably (unless PC ports arent great, but Im optimistic!).

Just a few days later, a 2:08 emerges! Pretty decent run across the board aside from a handful of splits and a shaky World of Chaos. Had to do the Final Ansem battle the dangerous way since I messed up the setup at the start of the fight, but I got lucky and clutched it while dodging the random lasers.
Next big milestone for this category has been achieved! Will be pushing for a 2:07 before deciding what I want to focus on next. A 2:06 might be possible, but it would be a pretty insane run to pull off. More updates on this later.

Sloppy run up until Halloween Town and then the rest was really good apart from a few splits in the late game. Wanted to get a 2:10:xx before KH3 came and got my goal!
Might try to go for a 2:09 later on, as well as improve my times in other KH1 categories, but Im taking a break from this game for the time being.")
