This is the 198th episode of Kingdom Hearts, "Aqua's Royal Reunion". This is the fourth of five episodes derived from Birth by Sleep, Volume 2.
In this episode, Aqua finally falls to the Heartless, which are stronger in the Realm of Darkness, and seems resigned to that fate when King Mickey comes to her rescue. This also begins to explain what King Mickey was doing during the events of Kingdom Hearts 1, as his role, and the role Aqua played in the timeline late in Kingdom Hearts 1 begin to come into focus.
