We talk to Queen Minnie at Disney Castle about the recent heartless invasion which they've been having trouble with and we become aware that not everyone in the castle knows about the heartless dangers yet and so, Donald and Goofy is sent to warn them while Sora escorts the queen to the audience chamber (throne room).
However, we learn that there's an army of heartless who managed to find their way inside which we have to clear up before we move the throne over which results in the Cornerstone of Light destroying many heartless in the area.
We learn that the power of the Cornerstone of Light which is housed in the Hall of the Cornerstone under the throne is what normally protects Disney Castle from the heartless however, a number of thorns have appeared which appear to be suppressing their power and we learn that Maleficent is behind this whole scheme who is planning to turn the castle into her new base due to Hollow Bastian being freed back into the hands of it's citizens.
We are sent to visit Merlin as he is quite knowledgeable about many matter and so, we head off back to Hollow Bastian where we inform him about what is going on while being teleported to Disney Castle while explaining it all.
Merlin summons forth a door to the timeless river which is a special world as it is the past of Disney Castle where we learn that Maleficent and her underling are wrecking havoc there where we must seal away the second door to the past with the keyblade to stop them from continuing their evil plans.
We encounter the past Pete where we arrive at the world..
