Young Matt (1st yr apprentice) making chips on the old King Rich knee mill. Running a Sutton Tools 10mm Harmony R39/41 roughing end mill. DOC 3.25mm WOC 4.5mm (45% step over) in bright mild steel. Engineering apprentices learn manual machining first turning handles before they’re let loose on CNC machines. Mmm chips 😋
