The People's Front for Freedom has called for a faster investiment in cancer treatment infrastructure including the long awaited expansion of the Uganda Cancer Institute situated in Nsambya.
The party says the death of the Omukama of Tooro who succumbed to cancer coupled with the recent rotary cancer run highlights the urgent need to strengthen cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment services across the country.
