Rare King of the Hill promo bit meant to play into the "King of the Hollywood Hills" promotion Fox did late into the show's second season. AFAIK bits of this footage appear in split-screen credits and through bogus Fox News Updates where they attempt to kill him off via the explosion that happened at the end of the season finale "Propane Boom" in case he didn't 'reconsider'. In the end the only thing that DID move was King of the Hill's timeslot; it would move to Tuesdays that fall, before moving back to Sunday a year later
This bit, which I'm certain aired only once after the King of the Hill episode "Peggy's Turtle Song" on May 10, 1998, is a Hank Hill interview regarding all of this, reportedly from Arlen's Fox affiliate. I'm fairly certain this footage doesn't exist on the Season 2 DVD, if it did I would've ripped it from there instead. There *are* some neat-o director intros though
