King David was strong at war and strong at peace. He had ruthlessness against his enemies, but immense compassion and empathy for all those lived under his rule.
Israel needs to evolve to being strong in both aspects and to realize that although it may have not created all of the problems in the Land, it does today have the power to fix them.
