Dude I think people forget ab how genuinely depressing his whole arc AND HIM are a lot of the just because he’s like an adorable chihuahua thing. But like- he’s the last living titan (that we know of), his dad and the rest of his species are gone or dead, he was left alone (not counting Jean luc) in a tower on an island nobody knew about for a year or so, when Eda found him he created this false reality that he was the king of demons and ruled over everybody, and went into a full panic state/mental breakdown when he found out it was all a lie, and spent months after trying to find out who and what he was. Like- he’s supposed to be 8 or 9 years old.. dudes been through some things.
