Kinetic Type Series® - Pixel letters on a sketchbook

This is the first of a series of KTS videos proposing graphic exercises without a computer involved.
You'll need:
A squared notebook and 1 pencil.
The idea is to create pixel letters, test the limits of legibility and how grid definition affects the final esthetics of your letters. But more importantly: to relax and connect to what's the core to being a designer. Grabbing a pencil and having fun.
There we go. You need to decide the size of your grid. I'm going for 5 per 7 squares. But you can try whatever you want.
Stick to that to make some iterations, and then you can change it. Keep going.
You can use this exercise to make a whole alphabet or simply use it as a fun exercise to decompress from the computer from time to time.
