YAS I CARVED MY SCREEN BUT THAT WAS ALREADY THERE A FEW YEARS AGO
The sound of the gamepad works but not the screen or the touchscreen ;-;
Okay so, um when i was a bit younger my wii u gamepad broke, so out of nowhere i was like: "IM GOING TO FIX MY GAMEPAD BECAUSE IDK" I've spent half a day trying to figure out what was wrong. Well eventually i found out what was wrong, the ribbon cable connecting to the power button and LED was loose, and i cleaned off my motherboard (idk if that helped but i think it did) But if only i had found that out earlier rip.
I started messing around with the screen ribbon cables which was a horrible idea especially if you're messing with the grey one. The clap that holds the grey ribbon cable came off and it got lost :( Then i tried stretching the grey ribbon cable for um (i kind of forgot why i did that) and now its like a bit wobbly. The thing that really holds the grey ribbon cable broke too (the yellow wires are bent) so yeah rip my wii u gamepad i guess, im really dissapointed because i spent a lof of time on this :/ If i want to fix it i need to buy some stuff which will be my last resort.
UNLESSS...... If the grey ribbon cable isnt meant for the screen!!!
Oof :(.
