IHG Kimpton Taconic Room Tour | Manchester, Vermont Hotel Review + Platinum Elite & Secret Password Perks

Justin Vacula of the Hurdy Gurdy Travel Podcast visits the Kimpton Taconic Hotel in Manchester, Vermont, after a five-hour drive from the Philadelphia area and gives a room tour of first-floor Room 101.

In this hotel walkthrough, Justin shows what it’s like to stay at the IHG Kimpton Taconic, a boutique-style property in southern Vermont. As an IHG Platinum Elite member, he also shares the extra perks he received during the stay.

After using the Kimpton Secret Password, Justin spins a prize wheel and receives a “spa day” gift bag with body wash, shampoo, body lotion, lip balm, sunglasses, and other items. He also highlights local Manchester brochures, a Manchester Discovery Map, complimentary water, chocolates from Mother Myrick’s Confectionery, and snacks including white cheddar popcorn.

The room tour includes the in-room tablet for dining and hotel information, king bed, do-not-disturb and green choice hangers, luggage space, and the bathroom with a large sink area and glass-door shower.

Justin also reads the Chase Edit benefits for his two-night stay and discusses the value of stacking hotel status, booking perks, and on-property benefits.
