ABOUT
Formed in Seoul, South Korea in 2018, Killkaiser is a five-piece thrash metal band rooted in the aggression of classic thrash while incorporating diverse influences, memorable melodies, and distinctive songwriting. The lineup consists of Hyeongjun "Jack" Kim (bass, vocals), Kyungjun Kim (vocals), Soonhoo Myung (guitar), Yonghyun Kim (guitar), and Seungmin Ha (drums).
Following the release of the singles Partisan and Blood on the Rust, Killkaiser performed at No Mercy Uprising Fest and Hellride Fest, while also supporting Spanish metal band Bloodhunter during their Korean tour stop.
The band's debut full-length, Killed in Carnage, was released in 2026, featuring artwork by acclaimed metal artist Dan Goldsworthy. The album explores war, ideological extremism, historical tragedy, religion, and the darker aspects of the human condition, drawing inspiration from subjects including the Korean War, China's Cultural Revolution, mythology, and religious imagery.
With Killed in Carnage, Killkaiser continues to establish itself within Korea's metal scene while reaching listeners worldwide
