The Shamu Stadium was under construction updates in the first part of 2014, so SeaWorld Orlando opened up the behind the Shamu stage to see the killer whales work with their trainers. This was a great way to see "up close" how the trainers interact with the killer whales at SeaWorld.

Documentary movie Blackfish has called into question some of the training tactics the trainers use to work with the killer whales at SeaWorld Orlando. This backstage show allowed fans to see how gentle the trainers are with the killer whales.
