On Thanksgiving 1985, Twelve year old Martha Jean Lambert had lived a troubled life in St. Augustine Florida.
Being removed from her home and placed in foster care due to her parents drinking and fighting,
reunited with her family for Thanksgiving, she had spent the day with a friend before returning home.
Martha disappeared that night and was never seen again.
Many years later, her older brother, who was described as troubled and suffering from mental and emotional problems confessed to accidentally killing Martha.
Police chose to believe him despite never finding any evidence of the crime.
Her family did not believe this and continues to search for answers.
