Kill Whitey were a grunge/punk band from Lawrence Kansas fronted by vocalist Kim Czarnopys and featuring Darrell Brannock on Bass, Mark Smirl on Rhythm guitar, Mike Tobin on lead guitar and Tim Mohn on drums. They released several singles and an obscure album on a German label in 1991.
In 1991 or so Czarnopys departed and Smirl took over on vocals.. this is when the band became Stick, who would go on to sign with Arista and release their own album before the machine chewed them up and spit them out into obscurity.
This song, "Image" was released in 1990 on a 3-track demo tape and also on the pictured comp., which I've never seen before. This was originally posted on Smirl's own YouTube channel, which seems to be gone now. RIP
