the vinyl release of about & i cant wait... doesnt deviate too far from the original digital releases aside from some timing to fit each album on a single side (the S.S.S.S. reprise is no longer included), but about has a major change in what was previously end of ice. now just called ice, this piece in particular has seen a major reworking. beyond that, this is mostly just a nice release of two records i still hold dear.
the press is definitely a little bit noisy, which is at least partially expected due to lower cutting volume to fit everything on, but the white material seems to increase that a little more than anticipated. not ideal, but ive experienced much worse - ill just be avoiding white vinyl in the future.

the cassette release of Prismatic has no changes, but (imo) benefits greatly from ferric hiss and magnetic warbles. i listened to a lot of music in similar styles on cassette growing up (Falco, DEVO, etc) so this was a fun one to tackle.

i dont include timecodes with physical recordings since half the fun of putting things on analogue media (tape especially) is the inconvenience of not being able to scrub through it as quickly.
