Dark Pit:… All I ever wanted was a life of freedom. Is that so evil? Is It demonic to think for myself? Does wanting a world without gods make me a treacherous blackheart? After all the bull those divine dorks put us through, do you really think they are capable of love? They don’t love us…they don’t love humans nor Angels for who they are, but rather what they are. Sheep. Slaves swindled by a cruel blindfold called faith. Gods only “Love” us when we slave for them. And humans only believe In the gods when It’s for their own selfish desires. And Angels don’t even have a choice, we have to slave away or else we lose our names and are cast down. Don’t you see? It’s a whole cycle of mooching. And I was about to fly away from It all. But now here I am… falling to my death.
Perhaps this Is the only path to true freedom In this cruel, cruel world.
