* Gregory Lamberson is touted as the hardest working indie filmmaker in the business, and for good reason. Lamberson has directed and released eight feature films including the cult classic SLIME CITY, KILLER RACK, JOHNNY GRUESOME, SLIME CITY MASSACRE, and WIDOW’S POINT which he adapted from the novella written by Richard Chizmar and his son Billy Chizmar. Lamberson’s fifteen published books include The Jake Helman Files series, the Frenzy Way series, Johnny Gruesome, Carnage Road, an indie filmmakers guide to making movies called Cheap Scares, and The Julian Year.
Most recently, Lamberson finished making an action film with heart called GUNS OF EDEN staring Alexandra Faye Sadeghian, Bill Kennedy and Peter Johnson. In this podcast, Lamberson discusses what it was like making a movie during a pandemic, what it took to raise the money to make it and how he gathered all the right people to get the job done well and safely.
Lamberson offers such an intimate glimpse behind the scenes of his film, you’ll have a hard time deciding whether to dodge the assault or run full tilt into the thick of the action.
