KiCad 8 has an improved length-tuning pattern tool. This tool allows copper traces to be manipulated after they are placed. This significant improvement greatly speeds up the process of modifying designs with controlled-length routing.

With this update, users can now easily select, modify, and remove tuning patterns, allowing for more flexibility and agility in the design process. This means that any changes needed to control the length or shape of the copper routes can be done quickly within the PCB editor without opening and editing pop-up dialogue boxes.
