Storyline: Kiara and Nala are sisters, Scar's daughters. He always ruled the kingdom in unhappiness, and Kiara always loved and admired her father; even dreaming of someday she'd became the queen and rule just like him. But then, Nala, who always hated Scar and his actions, becomes the queen after his death for being the oldest. When it happened, she started to force Kiara to forget Scar and be good, and she couldn't stand it. So she runs away, where she can be herself and finally "let it go".
The "night" and "dark" thing are about all the madness and unhappiness he kingdom went through when Scar was the king, that's why "I'm the princess of the night" and "The dark never bothered me anyway"
And of course the lyrics don't fit 100% as it was made based on mlp, so pretend she says "lioness" instead of "mare".
Sorry for repeating so many clips, it's just hard to make a video with Kiara using this song. I did what I could.
